I saw the same pattern as implementation organizations grew: smart, committed people working harder just to keep everything moving. Customers were still getting onboarded, but timelines slipped, exceptions became normal, and managers were pulled back into day-to-day delivery. From the outside, it could look like an execution problem. From inside the work, I knew there was usually more happening underneath it.
I learned implementation from the inside out because I did the work myself before I led the people doing it. That taught me to look beyond the delayed project or overwhelmed employee and ask what in the system allowed the problem to keep happening. Over time, my focus shifted from solving individual implementation issues to building the structure around the team—turning experience into repeatable processes, clearer decisions, and an operation that did not depend on a few people holding everything together.

That progression is what eventually led me to fractional work. I focus on the stage where a company has outgrown the way Implementation operates but may not need another permanent executive. I can step in with an operator’s perspective, work alongside leadership and the people closest to the problem, and help build what the organization needs next. My goal is not for the business to need me indefinitely; it is for the organization to work better after I leave.

I ask a lot of questions before I make recommendations, because the way the work is supposed to happen and the way it actually happens are often very different. I am comfortable getting into the details with the people doing the work, then stepping back with leadership to connect those realities to the larger operating model. I communicate directly, make tradeoffs visible, and will tell you when I think the obvious solution is treating a symptom rather than the underlying issue. I do not arrive with a generic framework and try to force your organization into it. I use what is already working, challenge what is not, and build around the realities of your customers, people, and business.

I have done the work myself, built the teams, and led the function as it scaled.
Customer experience remained strong even as volume, complexity and peak-season pressure increased.
I know what it takes to preserve what works while redesigning for greater scale.
If your current model is no longer keeping pace with growth, we can start by looking at what is actually causing the strain and decide whether I’m the right fit to help.
